Numas.xyz is build around the core of my work and personal preferences. I have been working as a software engineer since 2005 and have worked with Geographical Information Systems right about all through that time, going on to a 3D worlds more and more.
I also like to game, I played Warhammer back in ’96. In fact, that’s where I got the sites name from. It’s a nice town in the warhammer fantasy world. I played Undead back then and this was city overrun with undead. I used this town time in several games I did later on in my life. (MUDs, D&D, etc)
I love the fantasy genre and that got me into playing Dungeons and Dragons as well. I started with AD&D, then moved to D&D 3.5 and now we have been playing 5th edition for some time.
Ever since we used miniatures in D&D 3.5 I became more fascinated with miniatures; with games that involve them and frankly, the drive to make them. I have a lot of games with miniatures and I am trying to get it all painted. (I might dedicate some posts to this)
My utltimate goal for this place is to design and create a tabletop game(s), obviously with 3D printed game material and thus combining my love for creation and playing.
