I’ve been running 3D printers for some time now. It’s a difficult subject, especially getting prints to look great out of the box off the machine. I’ve been running a Creality Ender 5 plus for close to a year now, and I’ve had my M3D Crane Quad, also known as the machine-that-should-not-be-named, for 2 years now. I’m joking, ofcourse, but the M3D Crane Quad has been a rollercoaster ride I did not really enjoy. In theory, it should take in 4 colors, mix it, and output a single new color to print with. In practice, I’ve replaced 75% of the components and gave up on it.

But a replacement for it should be coming in next month. (more on that later)

I’ve also gotten a resin printer, the Phrozen3D Sonic Mini 4K and I’m absolutely loving that machine as well.

So, I’m able to do big prints, multicolor prints (when I have the new printer setup) and highly detailed prints. Because I feel I can help people getting their problems solved (by means of a piece of plastic, mind you) I’ve decided to add a new section to this site, The Forge. Here, you can request my services. Either through designing, printing, or both. My designing skills are still at a novice level, but I would want you to challenge me!

You can ask for a quote in the Forge. Just throw it in your bucket and we’ll run from there to see how I can help you. Obviously, I don’t print copyrighted material when I don’t have a merchant license for it. Also, I want to be quite transparent about the costs. I charge a basic fee that should cover my time setting things up, changing fillaments, etc. Then there is the material costs and costs to keep the printer running. (power, cleaning materials, etc.)

I do currently limit these services to the Dutch market. I might do a shipment to Belgium if it’s interesting enough but I haven’t looked at shipping costs, etc.

Let me know what you think, and tell me how I can create that for you!
